I prefer that clients to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 prior to receiving massage. At the very least, be 100% symptom-free of any respiratory symptoms.
1. Cancelled or rescheduled appointments:
Notice of cancellation is expected as soon as possible so that the space is available for other clients.
2. Missed appointments:
All missed appointments without notice or notice given in less than 24-hours will be billed at the full fees of the originally scheduled session. (Exception: medical or family emergencies.)
3. Late arrivals:
Late arrivals will be charged the full fee of the scheduled session.
4. Appointment management:
A good maintenance schedule for massage is usually once a month. For acute conditions, a more frequent treatment schedule may be suggested by the therapist, based on presenting symptoms. The frequency of subsequent massage sessions will be suggested by the therapist based on improvement of the condition(s).
5. Payment:
eTransfer is preferred for payment. Earthsong does not have a credit/debit machine. Cash or cheques are also accepted.
6. Massage Rates: (Incl. GST) Effective January 1, 2023
One hour: $100.00 Half hour $70.00
1 ½ hour $130.00
Laser Rates:
The length of treatments is determined by where on the body the light arrays are placed. An assessment will better determine length of time, cost and number of sessions.
7. Credit card/debit payments:
This service is not available.
8. Insurance Direct Billing
Alberta Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life,and several other companies. Check if massage is covered. Some require a doctor’s prescription for massage.
9. Other billing:
Report writing, legal letters and other requested documents are billed based on the amount of time each item takes for completion. The rate is set at $1.00 per minute times the amount of time per document.
10. Mobile service:
Mobile service for housebound clients is no longer available. If this service is required, please inform me, and depending on the circumstances, some arrangements may be possible through referral.
