Gill Brighton BA, RMT

My name is Gill Brighton, a practicing massage therapist in Edmonton since 1996. My pronouns are “they/them” and/or “he/him”. I am certified, licensed and registered with the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada. What that means for you, the client, is that I have received a diploma from a recognized massage school, I am licensed from the City of Edmonton, and my registration number from NHPC enables you to get reimbursed for treatment costs from your insurance provider or benefit package.

I have over 2800 hours of training and over 15000 hours of clinical experience. This includes a diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy (in 2010) from MH Vicars School of Massage (2200 hrs), and the original Massage Therapy Certification Program (in 1996) from Edmonton Public Schools Continuing Education Services (660 hrs). I was invited to teach at MacEwan’s Massage Therapy Program from 2000-2004. I added Low Intensity Laser Therapy to my practice in 2007.

I continue to increase my knowledge and proficiency, with other courses in orthopaedic massage, assessment and other modalities, to stay current with techniques and information on various health related topics.
